Here Goes Nothin'

We are packing up to head to my parent's for the week. I'm excited to see them again and for Xan to meet my Grandpa, brother and uncle. But I'm also pretty nervous about the 12 hour drive with an eight week old. I can't believe he's two months already! We're going to drive through the night; Alex is resting up as we speak. By driving at night we're hoping that Xan will sleep most of the trip and doesn't get thrown off his schedule to much. He's just waking up once during the night now to feed, and Ive heard horror stories of people going on vacation, leaving the familiarity of home and their routine, and their babies totally freaking out and behaving very badly. We'll see! I can't believe how much stuff one 11 pound person needs. I hope there's warmer weather than this to greet us. Have a great week everyone!

have a great week. Don't be disappointed in Xan if he has trouble getting into a routine there but he should do fine. it will be worth the trouble of getting there and spending time with your family. Have fun!
