Dissapointment with a capital D!

The weekend was so fun and there's a lot to report, but none of it is any good without the pictures...why no pictures? Because my stupid digital camera goes through batteries pretty much every other shot and now I've got a camera that's holding pictures of my new hair cut, my new "maternity" clothes, and Thanksgiving with absolutely no juice. Deep sigh...no fear, I will find the time to pick up some batteries, I know you will hold your breath until I do.

Can I vent about Grey's Anatomy?? What's happened to that show? Where is the orginality? The twisting plot? The excellent writing of season's past? Is anyone else out there sick to death of Meredith and Derek's on again off again, can't make up their minds, routine? It's getting so redundant. And the deer in the season opener was beyond ridiculous, I wanted to take a gun to it and put the poor thing out of it's memory. I had such high hopes for this season. Remember my YouTube clip (scroll down and preview if the answer is no)..what was that about Yang being preggers? And why is Izzy all of a sudden fixated on George, I've never understood that. Okay, I know I'm sounding bitter tonight, but I'm seriously giving this show one more week and then pulling the surgical plug. OH, and there was no mentin of why Addison left, or did I miss it?

Anyone else out there who is Dissapointed with Grey's? I'm scoping out a couple of different dramas, but want to give them another week or so before I make a formal blog commitment to them...they can be a little trashy, but well, wasn't Grey's in it's golden era? Any good dramas to sink my teeth into that anybody recommends?

I am totally with you. I was hopeful for Private Practice, too, but after the first episode, we gave up. I thought the deer in the first episode of GA was ridiculous and so unbelievable. And I am so mad about the Izzy/George story line. I am just waiting until January to get back into LOST. Until then, Dancing with the Stars will have to be my favorite TV night:(

I can't wait to see your pictures!

right there with ya. so disappointing! i love me some deers, and even I wasn't into that whole mess! like someone wouldn't be up her butt talking 'bout how she was gonna have to pay the hospital back for all those supplies and junk! yeah right ! maybe that's why the charge so much for hospital stays....they gotta make up for all the random acts of deer resuscitation! ugh!

PICTURES>>PICTURES>>PICTURES...I am stamping my fist and feet! I want to see!

Okay, I totally disagree with you about Greys. Well not the deer thing, that was STUPID I mean STUPID, not the least bit redeeming. But the last two weeks I have totally enjoyed! I am glad it is more lighthearted this year, I love how they are treating the interns. I am curious how the George/Izzy/Callie thing is going to shake out. I love that Bailey and Calli are going to come together (after last nights episodes) yes, the derek/meredith thing is played out..other than that, I still really like it this season especially after the crap ass ending from last season. I like Pushing Daisies alot, really cute and different. Private Practice..boo hiss

OK doll, I'm going to hold you to that one more episode promise. That show came out of the gate at a sprint...then realized it was a marathon...second season in, and nothing in the tank. Does this mean that we can switch to Survivor on the Office commercials?

holli -

i hear ya. And what's up with Callie - the one redeeming character on the show (a normal sized woman with a little spunk and a lot of sass) - her husband is cheating on her with the blond bimbo and meanwhile, Callie can't even do her job. What?!

I've begun to watch more and more of the office each week. I think this week it might be all Office.
